NEW BRIGG NOTICEBOARDS WOULD HELP GET THE MESSAGE ACROSS

No Brigg Line Blog update this week but there are issues to report from Saturday (January 6).
I've updated all the bus stops in the area and the railway station with the new fares (pictured below)  and I've dropped off an A4 timetable and fares guide at the OAP walk-in place on Cary Lane (The Pop-in Centre).
While I was doing the bus stop shelter next to Wetherspoon's, a chap came up and said: "You would have thought they would have provided you with a noticeboard."
The lack of community boards both in Brigg and  Kirton in Lindsey has come up before.
There's an ideal location spare next to Chinese takeaway (The China Garden)  (see right of  the picture above).
Numbers were quiet today (January 6), not helped by the fact the station area was a mudbath again.
NF adds: Passenger trains will be operating from Brigg station this Saturday, January 13. They run to Grimsby and Cleethopes, Gainsborough, Retford and Sheffield. You can get off at Barnetby to catch a connecting train to Lincoln and other destinations.
