TICKETS ON SALE FOR BRIGG OPERATIC'S 2017 AUTUMN SHOW
Tickets are now on sale for Brigg Amateur Operatic Society's autumn 2017 show.
Scrooge - The Musical will be performed nightly from Tuesday, November 14 to Saturday, November 18 at 7.30pm.
There will be an additional Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
The venue this year is not in Brigg - it's the Plowright Theatre, on Laneham Street, Scunthorpe, pictured above.
The society's initial shows, going back more than a century, were at Brigg Corn Exchange.
The Victorian landmark building was demolished during the early 1990s by owners Glanford Borough Council.
Recent productions have been at Westmoor House at the Vale of Ancholme School, on Grammar School Road, Brigg, later the Vale Academy.
The 1950s seat of learning has now been replaced by a new build off Atherton Way.
Tickets for November's show cost £8 for the Tuesday evening performance and the Saturday matinee, and £10 for all other performances.
The show will be directed by Trudi Jackson, with musical direction from Liam Fletcher.
For tickets and information, call Gloria Barnes on 01724 330874.
Or contact the Plowright box office on 0844 854 2776.
The venue is named after famous Brigg and Scunthorpe actress, Dame Joan Plowright (Lady Olivier) whose early life was spent in Central Square.
