Brigg Town Council has supported a request for help over the signage needed for Brigg Bike Night 2017 which will be held on Friday, July 7, from 5.30pm.
The council's June meeting agreed to make £50 available from its grants and donations budget.
Coun Rob Waltham suggested they should invite Bike Night organiser Lucy Fensome, landlady of the Yarborough Hunt pub, to attend a future council meeting to discuss the event.
Coun Mike Storey said: "Lucy has worked really hard on this."
