Coun Nigel Sherwood, a Brigg family business proprietor, chairs North Lincolnshire Council's planning committee which tomorrow (Wednesday, June 21) will consider an application relating to a well-known local pub.
During its monthly meeting at Scunthorpe Civic Centre, the committee will consider an application seeking the go ahead to erect six dwellings on land to the rear of the Red Lion on Broughton High Street.
Approval is also being requested to construct a private access and to amend access to the pub's car park.
The planning meeting starts at 2pm and is open to interested members of the public.
