This was revealed on Saturday during a launch presentation for the North Lincolnshire Stage of the OVO Energy Tour of Britain 2017 cycle race, to be held on Tuesday, September 5.
The launch was hosted in the first floor function room of the Market Place's Buttercross.
It would be a free-to-attend sporting event featuring top stars.
She pointed out that ITV 4 would be showing the race live to millions of viewers in many countries.
The route was then officially revealed, starting at Normanby Hall Country Park and finishing at Central Park, Scunthorpe.
It will take in the Alkborough area, the Isle of Axholme, Bottesford, Messingham, Kirton Lindsey, Redbourne, Hibaldstow, Scawby, Brigg, Melton Ross, Humberside Airport (Kirmington), Barton, South Ferriby and Winterton.
People living in places visited by the race are to be encouraged to decorate their homes and streets with flags, bunting and ribbons, and there will be resource packs for local schools.
