EXTENSIVE POTHOLE REPAIRS IN BRIGG

Pothole repairs have been carried out across Brigg - notably in the town centre but also on some of our housing estates.
"Black stuff" has been applied to fill in many holes, including these along Coney Court, close to the Hungry Fisherman takeaway and restaurant.
North Lincolnshire Council being the highway authority, we'll give credit where credit's due.
No-one is going to suggest that all Brigg's potholes have been attended to, as this job is a bit like painting the Forth Bridge - a never-ending task.
But can we suggest that the repairs near the Hungry Fisherman suggest someone has been chipping away at the problem?

  2. Yep!
There's a large rectangular dallop of tarmac....it's has been repaired a number of times in the past, perhaps there is some sub-structure fault, as any in-fill disappears....let's hope this repair is permanent....

  5. Re your comment about the Forth Road Bridge....yes, at one time the bridge was a continous painting job....but in recent years they've been using long-life paint....said to last for ages.

  6. One way to get rid of pot-holes, those holes in the road that keep needing to be repaired...is not to fill the hole, but to remove the rest of the road...dead simps...
