MAJOR NEW SPORTS EVENT ON ITS WAY FOR BRIGG

A major new event is on its way for Brigg and district sports enthusiasts to enjoy - participants and spectators.
The Ancholme Sprint Triathlon will take place on Sunday, April 30.
It will be based at Ancholme Leisure Centre, Scawby Brook.
Competitors will undertake a 400m pool swim, a 20k cycle ride and a 5k run - the later sections taking in Brigg streets.

Many competitors - men and women - have already signed up to take part, including some from the Brigg area, Scunthorpe, North East Lincolnshire and further afield.
