WW2 HERO TO BE SUBJECT OF BRIGG TALK

Details of the next meeting of Brigg Amateur Social Historians (BASH) are now to hand.
Josie Webb will be giving an illustrated talk on Tuesday, March 7 at Brigg Servicemen's Club, Coney Court, starting at 8pm.
With Courage and Sacrifice - Violette Szabo (1921-1945) will tell the story of a young mother's work as a secret agent during World War Two, serving with Churchill's Secret Army in France.
Eventually caught and executed at Ravensbruck concentration camp, aged 23,  she was awarded the George Cross for her courage and bravery.
Admission to BASH's monthly meetings is free. Everyone welcome - no need to book tickets in advance, just turn up on the night.
Light refreshments will be served and a raffle held to help towards costs.
