OK, to be strictly accurate, we saw Linda's picture on a poster advertising a panto in which she's about to star.
What's the local connection?
Back in the late 1980s or early 1990s, Linda came to North Lincolnshire to present a whopping Football Pools cheque to a syndicate of lucky winners which included a well-known Brigg man we used to see at weekends in the old Queen's Arms, on Wrawby Street.
Linda, who has appeared in TV soap Emmerdale, will be appearing in the pantomime Cinderella at Hull's KC Lightstream Stadium, from December 8 to January 1.

Having stopped to read the poster featuring Linda's picture, Brigg Blog looked across Wrawby Street and spotted another famous face. Yes, Santa has arrived and taken up his usual spot near the entrance to Brians DIY which again offers its traditional Christmas Shop. Yo! Ho! Ho!
