BRIGG GARDEN COMPETITION: DOING THE SPADEWORK FOR CHANGE?

Brigg Town Council is being asked to consider making changes to its annual best-kept garden competition.
Councillor Jane Kitching (pictured) has suggested that rather than councillors walking round all town streets to judge people's gardens from the footpath, householders wanting to take part might be invited to enter the competition.
This idea, and others, are expected to be considered at a future meeting.
