BRIGG FOOTBALLERS NOW THIRD IN TABLE

Brigg team Briggensians FC - based at Sir John Nelthorpe School - were without a fixture in division three of the TSW Printers Scunthorpe & District Football League yesterday (Saturday, November 12).
However, Barnetby United beat Louth Town 5-3 (after extra time) in round three of the Lincolnshire FA Junior Cup.

Next Saturday (November 19) Briggensians will visit AFC Queensway in the third round of the Johnstone Insurance Nursing Cup (1.30pm KO).
Division three leaders Barnetby United Reserves are away to Santon.
As a result of having no fixture yesterday, Briggensians are now third in the table - behind Crosby Colts Reserves and Barnetby Reserves.
However, Briggensians have four games in hand on the Scunthorpe team and are only a point behind them.
