It has submitted a planning application to extend the store's car park, erect a trolley bay, relocate and enhance a footway and add landscaping and lighting.
This is an amended application after North Lincolnshire Council planners - earlier this year - refused an application to extend the car park and carry out ancilliary works.
The council said the proposal then under consideration represented a significant encroachment into an area of amenity importance set adjacent to the River Ancholme.
However, in respect of the latest application, Lidl's agents say there have been a number of further improvements to the scheme.
"At peak times the store car park is currently extremely busy," the application says.
Members of the public can let planners know what they think by emailing planning@northlincs.gov.uk by November 10.
