BRIGG'S PURPLE BLAZE FOR PCA

REPORT AND PICTURE BY KEN HARRISON

Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain.....purple (violet) is one of the traditional 7 colours of a rainbow.
Purple is also regarded as the colour of piety, royalty, magic, Roman magistrates, the party-political UKIP and the colour of Cadbury's chocolate wrappers....but in this example, the equal portions of red and blue pigments, purple is the trade-mark of  Pancreatic Cancer Action (PCA).
During September's Farmers' Market, the Brigg PCA group, spearheaded by PCA ambassadors Zoe Hall (pictured) and Andrew "Sass" Markham, raised the amazing sum of £820 on their Awareness stall.
N.F. ADDS: Through Brigg Blog, Andrew wishes to say a big:  "Thanks, Brigg" on behalf of himself and fellow campaigners Zoe and Lesley.
