BRIGG TOWN FC HOSTING HISTORIC HETT CUP TIES

The Hett Cup (pictured) is an historic and handsome football trophy. It was brought back into use a few years ago, to be competed for by teams playing a knockout competition on various nights at The Hawthorns - by kind permission of Brigg Town FC.
Some games have already been played in the 2016/17 season's competition, but still to come - on Wednesday, November 9 - is Barnetby v Jolly Miller (Wrawby), kick-off 7pm.
Other teams entered: Limestone Rangers, AFC Brigg, Broughton WMC,  Barnetby Reserves, Scotter United, Briggensians, Brigg Town Under-18s, Hibaldstow, Brigg Town Reserves, Wrawby.
Our picture of the Hett Cup was taken in the clubhouse at The Hawthorns after a final a few years ago between Barnetby and Limestone Rangers.
