BRIGG DRIVERS BEWARE OF ROADWORKS

Brigg motorists are being alerted to two sets of roadworks  they might like to try and avoid, if possible.
The first will affect Bigby High Road just beyond the town, within neighbouring Kettleby.
It will apply 12 hours a day for five days from Monday, October 31 until Friday, November 4.
Temporary stop/go boards will control waiting traffic while Lincolnshire County Council is doing what needs to be done.
The second set of "traffic restrictions" notified to Brigg Blog by Lincolnshire County Council is also on the A1084 road from Brigg to Caistor - this time at Bigby Hill.
It will also apply 12 hours a day for five days from Monday, October 31 until Friday, November 4.
Lastly, Kettleby Lane level crossing will be closed to vehicular traffic on Sunday, November 6 for nine hours.  This closure has been instigated by Network Rail.
