Brian Taylor MBE JP - wearing the red top - was delighted to receive £1,000 on behalf of the British Heart Foundation during a presentation made the football pitch at Sir John Nelthorpe School, Brigg, at the weekend.
The cash came from May's football match at The Hawthorns, in memory of long-serving SJN teacher Adrian Gibbons, the renowned local footballer.
Adrian's family (above) were there to present the cash, together with many members of Briggensians FC, Adrian's former club, represented on the picture below by Craig Benson (second left) and Jon Taylor (second right).
