LET'S DO MORE IN BRIGG AREA TO CELEBRATE LINCOLNSHIRE DAY

Lincolnshire Day, October 1st, falls on a Saturday this year - giving more opportunity for people to celebrate all that's best in the former Lindsey, Holland and Kesteven districts.
Many events, often food-related, are held on Lincolnshire Day in the central and southern areas of this big old county of ours, but not much seems to happen in what we now know as North Lincolnshire.
Hopefully this year will break the mould, although we haven't seen much evidence so far.
Lincolnshire Day surely belongs to Lincolnshire, not just the area administered by Lincolnshire County Council.
The border between Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire skirts Brigg, notably on Westrum  Lane and Bigby High Road.
