Dexters, on Wrawby Street, has been open some time but Brigg Blog's first have-a-meal visit to the new town centre venue was only undertaken at lunchtime today.
We were very impressed by the standard of the food, the service and what's has been done to transform the old Black Bull pub restaurant area, pictured above.
The Grimsby haddock, chips and peas - accompanied by a decent pint of real ale - proved to be such a generous portion on the square plate that we had to pass on the sweet course!
We were being treated to our lunch and so can't include the price paid as a guide to others.
