DANCE COMPANY COMING TO PERFORM IN BRIGG

FROM KIRSTY WESTFIELD, NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL

An innovative dance company, Balbir Singh, which featured as part of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad, will be showcasing work in Brigg and Kirton-in-Lindsey on 15 and 16 April.
Balbir Singh Dance Company, based in Leeds, wowed the crowds at the London Olympics with their show ‘Synchronised’. Now they aim to leave North Lincolnshire audiences equally spellbound with two unforgettable performances.
The first show, to be held at Brigg and District Servicemen’s Club, Coney Court, on Friday 15 April at 7.30pm will be split into two parts; Painting the Gods and Rhythm of the Gods. Both shows explore traditional Indian tales through music, dance and art and promise to leave audiences absolutely mesmerised.
The second show, which will be held at Kirton-in-Lindsey Town Hall on Saturday 16 April at 7.30pm, is a programme of two halves featuring classical Indian music followed by classical Indian dance solos.
