BRIGG SCHOOL FRIENDS' ANNUAL DINNER: TIME TO APPLY FOR TICKETS

David Brittain, retired Headteacher of Sir John Nelthorpe School, Brigg, has compiled another very interesting 30-page Briggensians' Newsletter, packed with information.
It's in PDF format and has been emailed around the world to former pupils and staff of SJN, Brigg Grammar, Brigg Girls' High and Brigg Sixth Form College.
David tells them: "I hope you enjoy catching up with old friends and members you have come to know over the years.
"Thanks to all those who have sent news items; without your contributions we would not have a Newsletter."
For those wishing to attend the Annual Dinner of the Briggensians' Association, to be held on Saturday, 19th March at Elsham Golf Club (meet 7pm for 7.30pm), please note that:
1. You need to select your choice of food (menu below).
2. Please detail any seating requests (with whom do you wish to share a table?)
3. Post you request for tickets direct to "Carclew", Albert Street, Brigg, North Lincs, DN20 8HU  (NOT to Sir John Nelthorpe School, as in  past years).
4. Make cheques for £22.50 per person payable to The Briggensians' Association.

Anyone requiring further information can call Donna Fryer, the Association's Dinner Secretary, on 01652 652679.
The guest speaker will be Joey Richardson, an internationally acclaimed turner and sculptor, who is renowned for her delicate and richly hued wood forms. She works predominantly in the medium of wood, but often incorporates cast glass, metal and photography  into her creations. Born in 1964,  she grew up in the heart of Twigmoor Woods on a small farm, surrounded by trees.
Our picture shows a table set out for the 2015 dinner.
PS The food is always very good at Elsham Golf Club!
