Brigg Town Council's final meeting of 2015 will be held in the middle of the month, due to Christmas.
Members of the public are welcome to attend and to put questions to their elected representatives (see Item 8 below).
The meeting will include a review of the Christmas lighting installation, the Angel Suite and the town's allotment sites on Atherton Way/Redcome Lane and Grammar School Road.
The Town Council's involvement in the future of the Millennium Green, off Elwes Street, may also prompt discussion.

17. CHRISTMAS LIGHTS INSTALLATION 2015
a) To receive a verbal report from the Clerk on this year’s installation and feedback received to date.
18. PRECEPT REQUIREMENTS – FISCAL YEAR 2016/17
a) To advise members of the format used for preparation of the 2016/2017 budget, in readiness for January’s meeting at which it will be determined.
b) Members may wish to consider any new projects, e.g. Millennium Green, for which the Council would need a specific budget.
It's REDCOMBE LANE ..with a 'b'....
ReplyDeletenot certain why its called such...'combe' has an association with short, shallow valleys, especially in places like Devon etc.
Redcombe Lane actually follows a raised ridge from the Ancholme...just type of typography that Bronze Age man would walk along 3k years ago....the ridge then curves towards Cary Lane to meet the Market Place.
Methinks that the Ancholme end of Redcombe Lane would prove an interesting start in any exploration to the know to exist Bronze Age
trackway that ?crossed/extended into the undrained Ancholme Valley.
