BRIGG POPPY 10K IMPRESSES TOWN'S FIRST CITIZEN

The Brigg Branch of the Royal British Legion has been congratulated on its Poppy 10k race, which attracted 500 entries, by Town Mayor Coun James Truepenny.
He passed on his thanks during Brigg Town Council's monthly meeting, held in the Angel Suite, last Sunday.
The previous day, the Town Mayor had hosted a coffee morning in the Angel, with raffle, raising £125+ for his charity appeal fund.
He's picture above during the raffle-drawing part of the function with Coun Helen Rowson, Mayor of North Lincolnshire, who supported the event.
