For the family to enjoy during the half term holiday - The Ugly Duckling, Friday 30th October, 2.30pm, Brigg & District Serviceman’s Club. Inspired by the classic Hans Christian Anderson tale, the performance features the trademark hand shadow puppetry of Drew Colby (Finger and Thumb Theatre), live cello music played by Penny Callow. Suitable for ages 4+/family audiences. Tickets £6 adults/ £3 children

  1. The simple tale of the Ugly Ducking is that the predominate group of ducks thought the young swan to be a rather odd and ugly duckling...an outsider.
    The moral of the story is to never judge someone because of their appearance, gender, creed.....as mob assumptions are often skewed...
