BRIGG BEST GARDENS & PRIZE ALLOTMENTS 2015

Brigg Town Council and Brigg Garden Centre sponsored the competition to find the best plots in the town for 2015.

Judging was undertaken by Vic Bowness.
Prizes were presented during a coffee morning, held in the Angel Suite  in aid of Brigg Town Mayor Coun James Truepenny’s appeal fund.
The successful plot-holders all received vouchers to spend at the garden centre.
The winner collected the Mary Robins Memorial Rose Bowl.
Stan Mosey, a previous winner, presented a new trophy this year for the most improved allotment.

PRIZE ALLOTMENTS
1st place: R Lamplugh, Plot 9, Grammar School Road.
2nd place:   T Robinson, Plot 5, Redcombe Lane.
3rd place: K & N Major, Plot 7 Redcombe Lane.
Certificate of Merit: J Cosgrove, Plot 24 Grammar School Road.

MOST IMPROVED ALLOTMENTS
1ST place:  G Backhouse, Plot 12a, Grammar School Road.
2nd place: R Townend, Plot 25 Grammar School Road

BRIGG'S BEST GARDEN COMPETITION 2015

2nd place: DP and JV Flynn, Bracken House, Cadney Road.
3rd place: B & S Cowling, Spinney House, Westrum Lane.
Certificates of Merit: B Carnaby, 34 Atkinson Avenue & Mr and Mrs Winn, 14 East Parade.

1st placed garden: T Booth, 39 Grammar School Road.
