TONIC WIN FOR BRIGG FOOTBALLERS

Brigg football team Briggensians yesterday enjoyed  a very fine away win in one of the cup competitions organised by the T.S.W. Printers Scunthorpe & District Football League.
In round two of the E C Surfacing Ltd Sporting Shield, Briggensians won  7-1 at Midtown United.
Scorers were Neil Gallafent (2), Paul Neal, Anthony Keeton, Stuart Briscoe, Bradley Brooks, plus an own goal.
On Saturday, October 3 Briggensians have a home game at Sir John Nelthorpe School.
It's an interesting division three local derby against leaders Barnetby United Reserves.
