IN MEMORY OF BRIGG BUSINESS LEADER BYRON

A plaque has been donated by Brigg Town Business Partnership in memory of Byron Teague, proprietor of Brigg Fruit & Veg, in Wrawby Street, and the Partnership's initial chairman.
It is affixed to the public seat outside his former premises, since converted to popular tea rooms.
Byron died earlier this year. He  took on the task of starting up the business organisation from scratch. This he did superbly well with great personal commitment and using his own brand of enthusiasm and humour.
Members of Byron's family were there to see the presentation of the plaque, which is on his favourite bench in the town centre.
