FROM CHRIS O'ROURKE, NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL
Electoral
Services at North Lincolnshire Council are currently compiling the electoral
register and would like to remind residents to complete their household enquiry
forms.
We compile the electoral register every year so that we know who is eligible to register to vote. To do this, we need to know who lives at your address.
Household enquiry forms have been sent to all homes in North Lincolnshire with the details we currently have for your household.
If the details on your form are correct and there are no changes, you can confirm this to us on www.elecreg.co.uk/northlincs.
You can also confirm your details are correct by calling the free phone hotline on 03301 319 003 or by texting your two security codes (found on your household enquiry form), separated by a space, to 07786209379.
If the details on your household enquiry form are wrong, or you need to add or remove somebody from the list, you can do this on www.elecreg.co.uk/northlincs or by filling in the form and sending it back to Electoral Services in the freepost envelope.
If you have any questions about your household enquiry form, please contact Electoral Services on 01724 296245. You can also call Electoral Services to change your details or confirm they are right.
Coun Richard Hannigan, Cabinet Member for Policy and Finance, said: “Time is of the essence to complete your household enquiry form and it is easy to confirm your details to us by phone or on the website.
“We all know how important it is to vote, so to make sure you can vote when the time comes, you need to be on the electoral register. Being on the electoral register could help to improve your credit rating but failure to register could result in a fine.”
