BRIGG WALKERS TO SEE AREAS NOT USUALLY OPEN TO PUBLIC

The Rotary Club of Brigg will be running its very successful   sponsored walk from the Market Place on Sunday, July 12, starting at 10.30am.
This year the sponsorship will be to help two worthy local charities that support very
vulnerable or very sick children who live in North Lincolnshire.
The charities are St Andrew’s Hospice and our local branch of the NSPCC.
Both charities have seen, sadly, an increasing demand on their services over the last two years and that is why the Rotary Club is asking walkers, joggers and runners to gain sponsorship to take part in this worthy venture.
Runners and joggers will leave first, with walkers following on close behind.
The route, which can either be 6 or a 9 miles, will take them from the historic Market Place to the beautiful scenic and tranquil Scawby Park.
The route will take you through parts of the Park that the general public are not  normally allowed to enter.
This concession has been given by the very kind permission of Mr  T Nelthorpe.
Sponsorship forms are available at Brigg Tourist Information Centre or by calling/texting 07850304517.
Sponsorship forms must be registered at the start, before 10.30, and on completion of the walk in Brigg Market Place, where finishers medals are awarded.  Entry is £5 or £10 per family.
The walk is being marshalled by Brigg Rotary and First Aid is kindly being provided by Brigg LIVES First Responders.
