BRIGG PUMP BLESSINGS 2015

Brigg Pump Blessings 2015 are being Sponsored by Brigg Town Business Partnership
Saturday June 6th will witness the annual Pump Blessings and Processions. 
The Pumps situated at County Bridge (next to the Nelthorpe Arms) and Grammar School Road South (at the side of Wetherspoon's White Horse pub) will be decorated with flowers and blessed. 
The Brownies and Rainbows as flower girls will lead a procession throughout the town between the two pumps.
Music and Dancing will be provided by Grimsby Morris Men and Scunthorpe Tatterfoals Morris team from 10.00am until 2.00pm

The key times and venues are :-
10.00 Morris Dancing in the Market Place 
10.40 Folk music in the Market Place
11.15 Parade leaves the bandstand to pump on County Bridge opposite the White Hart 
11.30 Blessing of the Pump followed by dancing
12.00 Parade leaves to proceed along Wrawby Street to the Pump on Grammar School Road South
12.15 Blessing of the Pumps followed by dancing
12.40 Parade returns to by way of Wrawby Street where dancing and music will resume in the Market Place
13.30 Grand Finale
Everyone is invited to join in the Processions and enjoy the celebrations .
