BRIGG PUBLIC FOOTPATH IMPROVEMENTS

An extensive length of fencing defining the course of a public footpath in Brigg has been replaced, together with the surface of the walkway. 
This is the Clothes Hedge Path, between Churchill Avenue and the junction of Yarborough Road and St Helen's Road. It runs between the back gardens of many properties.
Keen walkers, groups of ramblers and people exercising their dogs are the main users of the this public footpath - many of them crossing Churchill Avenue where there's a public footpath across the fields to Wrawby. Very pleasant it is too, especially during the warmer months of the year.
North Lincolnshire Council is responsible for upkeep of public footpaths across the district. Below is a picture taken in December which, when compared with the one we took recently, shows the improvements.
