WHEN WILL BRIGG MARKET PLACE GET BACK TO NORMAL?

The normally attractive appearance of Brigg town centre continues to suffer from the gas main replacement work.  Deep holes are being dug, surrounded by unattractive fencing and filled in once those sections have been completed.  This is happening time and again as they progress across the Market Place.
The work is necessary and Brigg will benefit when it's finished. But yesterday, Saturday, the market stalls were not helped to attract trade by the high fencing. Especially if you were a potential shopper approaching from the Spring's Parade or County Bridge.
It's good that this work was not undertaken during late spring or summer, when the town centre enjoys its biggest influx of visitors. But, with hindsight, wouldn't January or February have been a better time to do it?
