Brigg Blog sends very best wishes to former town resident Cliff Turner, who is 90 today.
We think he's our most senior follower and, living Down-Under, perhaps the most distant from our home base.
Cliff tells us: "I suspect people who remember Woollies coming to Brigg are
getting thin on the ground. My mother came from Spalding and my brother and I
loved to go to Woolworths there when we visited our grandparents. So you can
imagine how pleased we were when Brigg caught up with Spalding. I think it was
1936."
We always enjoy receiving Cliff's interesting memories of his old home town and like to share them with Brigg Blog followers.
