A NEW YEAR REQUEST TO TESCO IN BRIGG

One of the short cuts into the Tesco car park in Brigg.

Every little helps, Tesco believes. So is there any chance the retail giant could give a little help to some customers at of its Brigg store?
Over the years, three distinctive short cuts have been established to Cary Lane from the edge of Tesco's car park - through the shrubbery.
Many people use the unofficial walkways but concrete slabs and a wooden railing make it quite difficult to negotiate. And many of the people you see taking the short cuts are the wrong side of 50.
So could Tesco put small breaks in the concrete and  railing at one of the three crossing points?
We don't think the kerb belongs to North Lincolnshire Council. But if it does, the local authority will surely  agree to look at the idea of an extra pedestrian exit/entrance to the car park.
People use the shortcuts between Cary Lane and Tesco because it's a long walk round the other side of the store if you are parked in the section of the store's car park that closest to Barnard Avenue (and that's the majority of the parking spaces).
Where there's a will, people in Brigg will find a way.
