PICTURES AND REPORT BY KEN HARRISON
A number of Brigg hostelries were visited by the Grimsby Morris Men, who performed a Mummer's rendition of their Elsham Plough Play during Friday evening.
The actors' eccentricity was only surpassed by the actors' bizarre costumes.
Some punters had planned an evening out to observe the scheduled play at a respective venue, while other punters were taken by surprise as the Grimsby Morris Men burst in onto the pub floor to perform their dance and thespian routine at Brigg hostelries, which included such places as the Black Bull, the Nelthorpe Arms and the Brigg Servicemen's Club.
