BAD WEATHER WARNING TO BRIGG DOG OWNERS

The North Lincolnshire Dog Warden services has issued a timely winter warning to owners about their pets at this time of year, when there's a threat of snow and ice, the council lorries are out treating the highways and folk are "treating" paths outside their homes.
@NLCDogWarden  Tweeted: "Big chill coming? Road salt & grit can cause cracking, burning & irritation to #dogs' pads. Avoid by washing paws after walks."
Sound advice. We must say this salty problem had never occurred to us.
And there's more...
NLCDogWarden  says: "Consider young children when walking #dogs. A friendly dog bounding up to an adult is very different from a child’s perspective."
