Family members joined Brigg councillors and officials for the
installation and dedication of a new public seat in memory of well-known couple
Jim and Amber Allcroft.
They were adopters of Brigg railway station, under a scheme
which sees local people advising company bosses by keeping an eye on their
stations and suggesting improvements.
Jim was a tireless worker for many causes in Brigg,
particularly those relating to our more senior residents.
A very prominent location has been chosen for the seat - in
Bigby Street, opposite the old Post Office.
The handsome seat has been inscribed in memory of Jim and
Amber.
