There's a major event in Brigg tomorrow (Sunday October 26) - our Royal British Legion Branch's annual Poppy 10k Race and Military Challenge.
The competitors will be meeting up in the rear car park of the Angel. Race start times are 10.45am and 11am, with prize-giving at 12.30.
The Challenge will see male runners carrying a backpack weighing 36lbs (16.3 kgs) and women carrying 24lbs (10.9 kgs).
Local firm Pipers Crisps is the main sponsor.
