I hope that some Brigg people are followers of my blog and so would have seen last
Saturday's edition, but for those who aren't, I thought I would point out a
couple of selected entries for both Brigg and Wrawby.
The first Brigg entry is
for the Pig Club and the second a letter from a wounded soldier. The entries
for Wrawby are about the scarcity of water but also a notice of the death of a
sailor on board H.M.S. Hogue. The notice includes a letter from the King, sent
by Winston Churchill.
