Brigg football team Briggensians were in cup action today (October 4) in the TSW Printers Scunthorpe & District Football League. In the T.S.W. Printers Challenge Cup first round they lost 2-1 when entertaining Scunthonians. Joe Stothard scored for the home side. Next Saturday (October 11) Briggensians visit Six Bells in week two of the Johnsons Transport Ironstone Cup.
