ANCHOLME HEAD ROWING RACE IN BRIGG

There's a free spectator event in Brigg tomorrow (Sunday, October 12) which will bring many people into town from Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and other areas of Lincolnshire.
It is the Ancholme Head race, organised by Ancholme Rowing Club, based in Manley Gardens, off Bridge Street.
The rowers will be competing on the River Ancholme between Broughton Bridge and Brigg, from 10.30am.
The large number of competitors and supporters will need feeding and watering while spending the best part of a day in Brigg, and we hope businesses in the town centre will be geared up to take advantage.
