Women's Institute members from Brigg are to travel to North
Yorkshire to turn back the clock.
Brigg Angels WI is running a trip to a war-time and 1940s
weekend at Pickering on Saturday, October 11.
A coach will leave Cary Lane, Brigg, at 8am and set off on
the return journey about 5.30pm.
Tickets cost £11. To find out more, call at the WI Office in
Queen Street.
Pickering is served by the famous North Yorkshire Moors Railway, as featured extensively in the TV series Heartbeat.
