JOHN HARDING WILL BE REMEMBERED BY MANY IN BRIGG

Many members of the Briggensians' Association, which  represents former pupils of Brigg Grammar School, Brigg Girls' High School, Sir John Nelthorpe School and Brigg Sixth Form College, will be sad to learn of the death of John David Harding.

John will be remembered with great affection by those who studied English, and especially English Literature.

He died in Scunthorpe General Hospital, aged 78.

A service to celebrate John’s life will be held at St Bartholomew’s Church, Appleby on Friday 8^th August at 2pm, followed by interment in the churchyard.

Family flowers only by request.  Donations in John’s memory will be divided between Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, British Red Cross and Cats Protection, and may be made following the service or sent c/o J Naylor Funeral Directors, Comforts Avenue, Scunthorpe DN15 6PN.

Cheerful clothes may be worn by those attending on Friday.
