BRIGG SURVEY GENERATES GREAT LOCAL INTEREST

Brigg Town Mayor Coun Edward Arnott added a touch of humour to the Town Council's latest meeting.
Councillors were discussing the findings of the survey into whether people livingon the Waters Edge housing estate and at the far end of Western Avenue would rather live in Brigg than Broughton and Wrawby parishes respectively. Scawby Brook homes were also included.
The results (revealed in a recent Brigg Blog post) showed 67 responses from 73 homes in Scawby Brook and a full house of 24 out of 24 in Western Avenue.
Those impressive returns prompted Coun Arnott to quip: "A better turnout than the Euro elections!"
