BRIGG LIGHTS OUT LATEST

Once alerted to the Cary Lane traffic light problem we reported on Brigg Blog at the weekend, North Lincolnshire Council soon got the issue resolved yesterday.
The signals were repaired by 11:30am. They tell us only one lamp was out (red) the amber was OK and the green lens "had been pushed into the head."
Please let the council know if you spot any street or traffic light bulbs that are not working. Or ones that stay on during the day when they should gone out.
It's in all our interests to get these things sorted. You can report through www.northlincs.gov.uk

  1. .....the lights on the lamp-post between the Angel and the TIC wildly glow during the day.....but it's nice to see that the bandstand lights which tended to be on during the day and off during the night - were actually off at lunchtime today..Will it last?
When I have mentioned this previously, I have been offered the feeble answer that the time s/w is somewhere in the Angel and is too difficult to access....

  2. ......another is one of the spot-lamps in the Old Courts car-park - ON during the day...

  3. .....and the most contentious ones are those coloured lights on Bartnard Ave - they keep flashing on and off...sometimes by themselves and sometimes in pairs - but never all 3 together.... Could be a bad earth somewhere !!!
