Only the other week we were chatting outside the Woolpack pub in Brigg town centre when a friend pointed out the absence of bollards guarding the entrance to the pedestrian area between Bigby Street and the Market Place.
The suggestion was the council should be putting in replacements. So we were pleasantly surprised to take this picture the other day, showing that work is well advanced.
This should help cut down the number of vehicles entering the pedestrianised area without proper cause.
