Our thanks to Coun Rob Waltham for sending us these pictures of the first floor function room at Brigg Buttercross which now has a new role - wedding venue.
The historic grade two listed landmark in the Market Place recently staged its first wedding since being licensed for this purpose.
North Lincolnshire Council owns and operates the Buttercross and has undertaken refurbishment of the premises, including providing a lift to the first floor.
Brigg Town Council's nearby Angel Suite is available for after-wedding functions and happy couples can now get a package involving the Buttercross and the Angel.
