MORE TRAINS CALLING AT BRIGG STATION WILL BOOST SHOPPING AND TOURISM

Public consultation is due this summer about the Northern Rail franchise to run passenger trains through Brigg, and the Friends of the Brigg and Lincoln Lines will wish to make a submission based on the Brigg Line Action Plan. 
The case to be made is that  a regular service on the Brigg Line will boost economic activity in the area through increased employment opportunities, shopping and tourism.
