Lights have been installed along the approach to Brigg railway station, making the journey from the end of Station Road to, and from, the platforms much safer. On the right of picture is the shed used for Stennett's auction. Shall we now see a move towards twilight sales?
The word from North Lincolnshire Council is the lights relate to overspill car parking that's available for nearby Hewson House.
The lights on the station platforms were already there but as the street lighting on Station Road ends near the yellow barrier, there was some distance in need of illumination.
