BRIGGENSIANS LOSE IMPORTANT GAME IN BRIGG TO BARNETBY AT FOOT OF TSW PRINTERS SCUNTHORPE FOOTBALL LEAGUE

In a game that could have an important part to play in deciding the wooden spoon, Briggensians FC lost 2-1, in Brigg, to Barnetby United Reserves yesterday (Sat Jan 4).
This was in division three of the TSW Printers Scunthorpe and District Football League.
Gallafent scored the the Sir John Nelthorpe School based team, with Brook and Thirwell netting for the visitors.
Bottom-placed Briggensians now find themselves four points behind Barnetby, but the Brigg lads have four games in hand.
Briggensians have one point so far, Barnetby have five, while third-from-bottom Luddington have eight.
This Saturday (Jan 11) Briggensians host Crosby Colts Juniors.
