RECORD SET: MAGNIFICENT BRIGG EFFORT FOR POPPY APPEAL

People in the Brigg area have been remarkably generous this year for the Poppy Appeal.
Retiring organiser for our area, Maureen Glossop, told us recently that £21,942.33p had been raised - with more  to come in -  an increase of £4,000.
"It' been absolutely fabulous," she said.
The Royal British Legion will be suitably grateful to all, together with  the service personnel and families it helps.
